Sussex Bar & Restaurant, Soho
Loved: Everything. The quality of ingredients was excellent, veg super, crispy yorkie with bone marrow a dream - pork and gravy really good too. Just book it.
Loathed: Nothing really. I wasn't keen on either their pale ale or lager, and the crackling wasn't done properly on the pork, and their Instagrim handle calls themselves a "resto"...urgh. Otherwise...just book it.

Blacklock, Soho
Loved: Gravy was excellent, roast potatoes were sex, cauliflower cheese was top notch, that cheesecake ohhhhhh...and some outstanding service
Loathed: Yorkshire pudding too crispy and a tad burnt, beef rump was good but not as special as expected.

L’Escargot, Soho
Loved: Beef rib was superb, yorkie was fluffy, cabbage was so buttery and the whole experience was a delight.
Loathed: Roasties could have been better (tis always the case though), and the tomato-base of the gravy wasn't my cup of tea - though there was nothing wrong with it, and it had a good consistency.

Temper, Soho
Loved: Gravy was sexual, despite it being thin - smoky sexual. Lamb shoulder had been beautifully slow-cooked.
Loathed: No roast potatoes despite them being advertised on their socials.
