Looking for the best roast dinner in an Irish pub in London?
The WB Yeats, Finsbury Park
Loved: Banging red cabbage, lamb near-sensational, especially the crispy fat, fluffy yorkie, lots of different veg - plenty to like here
Loathed: Well, they aren't roast potatoes. I enjoyed them, but they still aren't roast potatoes.

And those Irish pubs that didn't impress so much, but deserve a mention...
The Claddagh Ring, Hendon
Loved: Seemed a welcoming place, beef fell apart, gravy was thick and hearty (if with some granules) and LOADS of food!
Loathed: Yorkie was from a bag, too much food, vegetables a bit basic. Nothing wrong per se though.

The Boot, King’s Cross
Loved: Roast potatoes would be award-winning, if they weren't overly oily. Really good gravy too, meaty and herby.
Loathed: Pork belly was offensively overcooked - ruined meat. Yorkie was dry and floury also.

Ganley’s Irish Bar, Morden
Loved: Proper cuts of meat - way above Toby Carvery standard. Thick gravy, squidgy Yorkshire.
Loathed: Very basic vegetables, cabbage came with reservoir of water, gravy too salty/granuley
